Aldo Acquadro was a native of Piemonte, Italy. Although he was a world traveler, he spent most of his time in Munich, Germany. Educated at Ecole d'Arts et Metiers in France, Aquadro was an award-winning internationally known photographer for National Geographic, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Harper's Bazaar, among other publications. Acquadro's estate contains a large body of work which has become available through ARTinBusiness.

Viktorija Bulava was born in Riga Latvia and is a member of Artists Union of Latvia. She earned her Masters of Art Science Degree from the Latvian Academy of Arts, Painting Department in 1996. Bulava has hosted solo exhibitions in Latvia, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota, Florida, and been a part of group exhibitions in Latvia, Canada and Denmark. Her work can be seen at several local galleries and is a part of private collections in Canada, Latvia, Germany, Denmark, Finland, and the US.

Sarah Costello, portraitist and muralist, was born into a family of European trained, itinerant painters travelling throughout Italy and Austria. As a result, she had already received a professional art education in theory and technique before attending and graduating the Ringling School of Art and Design with a BA in Fine Arts in 2002. Costello produces portraiture and mural work, glazing in the manner of the 17th century Dutch realists while using a contemporary palette of strong color and dynamic composition. All commissions are contractual and range from single portraits to large-scale groups to mural commissions in private homes and public buildings.

Karin E. David is an internationally known painter, sculptor, printmaker, photographer and poet. Most of her works are mixed media involving the methods of drawings, paintings, collages and photography. The themes of her work are metaphoric and driven by spiritual energy. Her vibrant colors are used in mini formats as well as larger canvasses. She has been exhibited in national and international single and group shows since 1996, and is collected by galleries, individuals and corporations internationally. Her writings are often accompianed by her illustrations in various publications.

Peppi Elona’s work explores the abstract and the figurative through the unusual use of fragmented bits of color, large flat solid colors and expressive line to define pictorial space. Some abstract paintings are done stretched canvases; others are colorful three dimensional shapes. Her abstracts are formal aesthetic explorations. Her art is often displayed in the Art Center Sarasota and the Venice Art Center. She was included in the 2005 “Creators and Collectors” Art and Studio Tour. One of her works is currently on display in Sarasota City Hall. Peppi’s work has also been on display in the Newark Museum, Newark, NJ, the Johnson and Johnson Corporate Headquarters Gallery and in private and corporate collections.

Larry Forgard is a painter and sculptor using images that reflect both the figure and its surroundings, thus creating a mood using colored represented shapes and structure. Ghostlike or sometimes in-and-out of focus the paintings bring the figures to the forefront and slip away into the background. Educated at both The Chicago Art Institute and The American Academy of Art, Larry gained the opportunity to use the city experience and education to become a figure drawing instructor at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. Many galleries have or are now showing and representing his artwork some including the cities of Chicago, Washington D.C., Boca Raton, Tampa, Palm Beach, Captiva Florida, Louisville Kentucky, and Sarasota.

Peter Gedeon is a native of Hungary and has lived in Sarasota FL since 1992. An award-winning artist and photographer, Gedeon has studied with some of Hungary’s most recognized photographers. In 1981 he was admitted to the Association of Hungarian Photoartists and Art Found of Hungary. In 2004 Gedeon opened his Photo Gallery in The Village of Arts in Bradenton. He has held over 30 solo exhibitions in Hungary, Germany, France, Belgium, Canada, Romania and Florida.

Jean Germain is a multi-award winning fine art photographer with an imaginative eye for the ethereal and unusual. As the official photographer for the Sarasota Jazz Club since 1980, Germain clearly documented jazz legends in their later years. In addition to her jazz photographs, she also has a wide range of infrared, color and black and white photographs depicting nature, the human body and architecture. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums across the country, and is in the private collections of over 40 individuals and organizations.
